The latest movie that I saw (sometime in the last two weeks) was "You've Got M@il" - mushy, but enjoyable, and great timepass. I prefer the original - James Stewart in "Shop Around the Corner".
Hmmm... saw "Rush Hour" as well. Jackie Chan is not his usual self. The last Jackie Chan movie I saw was the old "Defender", which was just great. He's just grown older, I guess. Hey, wait... "Rumble in the Bronx" was great... he was old, but then, he was great!
Bond... Pierce Brosnan reminds me of Remington Steele whenever I see him, and as Steele we are used t seeing him clown around Laura and Laura Hope only.... Connery was the greatest, and then Moore.
Am into these old musicals... comes from watching too much of TNT and not enough of Star Movies and AXN. My friends tell me that I a missing out a lot by not watchin those channels, but hey, what the heck... I like the good ol' stuff. Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Fred Astaire, and James Cagney, and Lauren Bacall, Lana Turner, Bette Davis, Greta Garbo, Katherine Hepburn, Audrey Hepburn, Vivien Leigh, all make my day (should I say, evening?).
I liked Jurassic Park much better than the Lost World. I read the Lost World before watching the movie, and it was nowhere as riveting. Was bored out of my head watching the movie, and man, did they change the story!
My friend Sam, who is watching me type all this in is a crazy guy (tho' not as crazy as I am), and he would like to include his favorites too: Nine and a Half Weeks, Blame it on Rio, Cocktail, and Wall Street are his favorites. He still hasn't asked me to build his website... when he does that, this stuff will go into it. This will also probably be the only meaningful thing he might have to say at his site.
And keep coming back!
